Collaborate or Die...

Why reinvent the wheel? Wouldn't it make more sense to collaborate? The Internet has opened up some many ways to communicate, collaborate and create.

There are numerous resources for both teachers and students on the Internet. These resources include but are certainly not limited to the following: Club Penguin, 1kg.org, global epals, iearn, among others.

These resources all have similar goals to communicate, collaborate, create, discovering, and designing.

This is a new tool for all of us, so I am all for collaboration, why reinvent the wheel? Use whats out there and share if you have something that you use that's dynamic as well. Endless resources are all around us you just have to look and learn!

We all learn...

As stated numerous times, we are all learners! The world around us is ever changing and so should our teaching and learning methods. Today we have a vast number of opportunities for ourselves and our students. As educators we should be learning how to teach our students with these ever changing options and tools. We need to teach our students not for today but for their future, the world will be different by the time they are the leaders, so they should be prepared for this!
As an educator I know that time is of the essence, but I do believe that making a change at incorperating technology into the classroom is a positive one that perhaps could make students more engaged! Most of these resorces are free and easy to access, so dive into the technological world!
